INFORMATION ON THE TRAINING OBLIGATION ACCORDING TO THE REACH RESTRICTION REGULATION

The aim of the REACH restriction regulation is the uniform Europe-wide regulation of products containing isocyanates and thus improved health protection, as well as fair competition and mutual recognition in all EU member states.

Training is required for all processors of isocyanate-containing products with a free monomer content of ≥ 0.1%. Products that meet this definition are marked with the GHS symbol 08. Temporary and contract workers are also required to undergo training. Training is also mandatory for the management level and supervisors. Warehouse workers who transport products containing isocyanates are also affected.

The training materials are developed and provided by the Association of Isocyanate Manufacturers, as well as FEICA. The training can be carried out online as a personal individual training, this is possible for you as our customers free of charge. For further information, please contact your personal KLEIBERIT representative. A successfully completed training course remains valid for 5 years. Further training options are available in the form of a virtual classroom or in presence, however, these options are subject to a fee.
