1C / 2C PUR adhesives

Liquid reactive PUR adhesives are chemically setting adhesives available as 1C or 2C systems. The choice of which product to use generally depends on the manufacturing process and the intended purpose of the end products. 1C and 2C PUR adhesives bond to different material combinations and provide extremely strong resistance to temperatures and water.

Solvent-based adhesives

KLEIBERIT offers different versions of solvent-based adhesives: polyester-based, polyurethane-based and polychloroprene-based. They can be sprayed on or applied with a doctor blade and enable short cycle times in production.

2C sealing compounds

Our 2C sealing compounds are mainly used in industrial filter production. The filter end discs and filter frames and casings are often made entirely of foamed or non-foamed sealing compounds, or the sealants are used to glue all the parts together.

Foams

PUR foams are practical on building sites, for filling holes or installing windows and doors, and in manufacturing, for filling door and window frames, etc.

Assembly adhesives

Fixing, gluing and mounting on different materials. KLEIBERIT assembly foams are suitable for outdoors, indoors, and in wet rooms. They are STP or PUR-based and can be used for almost all purposes.

Epoxies

Condensation resin glues

Urea-formaldehyde and melamine-formaldehyde glues are also known as condensation resin glues. They belong to the oldest synthetic adhesive systems and are still widely used in present day wood processing.

Sealants

KLEIBERIT sealants have high elasticity and can bear heavy mechanical loads. They are used to seal all kinds of joints, such as in glazing, tiles, and many other materials.

Primers

Primers are ‘facilitators’ between the adhesive and the surface of the material to be bonded. They serve two purposes: they create a clean layer between the surface and the adhesive, and they provide the functional polymer which promotes adhesion.
